Maxine WatersMaxine Waters, (Examiner) — Friday night, Maxine Waters, California Democrat, said he would contest the charges of misuse of the ethics committee that his office, according to NBC News.

Waters has been indicted by the House ethics subcommittee to help raise funds for a bank rescue of property values of her husband, and he served on the board of that bank. Waters also owned shares in the bank in a moment. The indictment is expected on Monday against Water, Office of Congressional Ethics. Waters was notified of the charges on Friday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Waters, 71, has held office in Sacramento and Washington for over 30 years.

The Office of Congressional Ethics referred the case to the Ethics Committee of the House, and research has taken several months.

Waters has stated that she revealed that her husband Sidney Williams had ties to the bank, which owned shares, and was on the board.
