Matt Schaub Injury

December 6, 2009 by USA Post

Matt Schaub Injury,Matt Schaub has left the Texans game at Jacksonville with an apparent left shoulder injury.

Schaub came down on his left arm as he was sacked from behind by Derrick Harvey on the Texans first play from scrimmage.  He left the field with trainers working on his left shoulder.

Schaub dislocated his left shoulder in 2007 at Tennessee and this one had a similar look in how he landed and his reaction as he was taken off the field and into the locker room.

Rex Grossman replaced Schaub and threw an interception on his second play from scrimmage.  Dan Orlovksy is the emergency quarterback.  It could be a very long day and rest of season for the Texans.

Schaub has been unable to stay healthy for an entire season since he joined the Texans in 2007.  He missed five games in each of his first two seasons.

Schaub is due a $10 million option bonus at the end of this season.
