Matt HamillMatt Hamill – Fightofthenight –  In a battle of  TUF season three veterans Matt Hamill defeated Keith Jardine season two.
Jardine began looking sharper, keeping his opponent at a distance with the kicking leg and a good move. The second round began the same way, but the complexion of the struggle has changed when Hamill connected with a few blows that opened a cut under his left eye, followed by a kick high, leaving dazed Jardine.

Hamill felt the blood, but the two exchanged he stuffed into the eyes causing a stop, and if it was accidental Jardine was deducted a point. Shaken by the decision Jardine seemed to lose his composure and got into a fight with Hamill to resume it came out second best in.

The two men looked winded entry into the third cycle, but Jardine was much worse off and work was now a feeling of despair about it. He managed to land some solid shots during the round, but Hamill has a cast iron jaw and pressed slightly. With Jardine’s face is now covered with blood and the rate Hamill also pushing a tower close, and wrestling, swinging for the fighter.

One judge saw the fight as a draw despite the point deduction Jardine’s, but the other two assigned Hamill contest 29-27 to give the victory to the majority.

Earlier in the evening wrestler Aaron Simpson made the mistake of fighting with a specialist in the field as Chris Leben.

He paid the price when “landing leather began Crippler” heavy on the second lap, sending him staggering into the cage to escape the attack and forcing the referee to call an end to the competition.

Before Spencer Fisher and Denis Siver were involved in what was essentially a battle for three rounds of kickboxing. In a very close fight Fisher almost done enough to win the first, while Siver rapid-fire kicks and right hands gave the second.

The third was even closer, leaving the final decision in the hands of judges. He could have either way, but in the end Siver has its hands.

In the first fight of the UFC 11 main card bad boy Jamie Yager started strongly against Rich Attonito, fluid showing his skills stand-up and is doing well to fill his opponents takedowns.

In the second work-rate at the beginning seemed to be catching up with him, and as the round wore on Attonito and began to find housing for its strikes of the fight seemed to come from Yager, allowing Attonito to take him down and pound a TKO victory.
