MasterCard Fashion Week, Models showcase the fall 2012 collection by Chloe Comme Parris during World Mastercard Fasion Week in Toronto, With a runway collection called Beautiful Badass, Chloe and Parris Gordon, the sisters behind the Chloe Comme Parris fashion label, undoubtedly delivered on their promise of unrelenting garments during Tuesday’s runway presentation at the World MasterCard Fashion Week tents.

As the first show on the runway for the day, Chloe Comme Parris created quite the commotion in the tents as people filled up the lobby anxiously waiting to get in and scrambling their way to their seats once the runway opened.

As models sauntered down the runway to Siouxsie and The Banshees’ Cities in Dust in a series of clothes that walked a fine line between grunge, punk and goth, the collection was a hit amongst the crowd that was still high in energy long after the show was over.

The collection itself – set in dark n*des, mocha browns and blacks – moved from long, delicately flowing dresses (which one model consistently tripped over before giving up and holding up the dress for the rest of the runway) to a long black trench cinched at the waist and embellished on the sleeves with silver detailing. The silhouettes of the dresses were 1920s-inspired: tightly streamlined against the model’s bodies but delicately draed past the waist.
