Martin Bashir, the well known and very prominent co-anchor on ABC News “Nightline” have decided to leave the television network owned by Walt Disney to participate in an evening program on MSNBC, a cable news channel owned NBC and joined by Microsoft.
According to recent reports, Martin Bashir bags filled all of the qualifications and is now ready to leave his seat in co-anchor of ABC News Nightline to join rival ABC MSNBC in September, where the veteran presenter will host the daily show afternoon in the cable news channel with a little contribution to ‘Dateline’ too.
Martin Bashir, who is best known for his in-depth reporting style has also made some notable documentaries as well as the bright “Living With Michael Jackson ‘, a special documentary launched in 2003 that helped a lot that caused a police inquiry into the late singer relationships with children, and an interview with the late Princess of Whales, Diana.
Martin Bashir unexpected move is undoubtedly a great loss for ABC News, however, as a matter of fact, a good reason for his decision could be the fact that unlike NBC, which has cable channels such as MSNBC and CNBC, ABC journalists have little vents to pronounce his words like the ABC has just a handful of programs including ‘Nightline’, ‘World News Tonight “and” Good Morning America.
Anyway just to fill the void created by Martin Bashir, ABC News’ Bill Weir, who is a weekend anchor “Good Morning America”, will join Cynthia McFadden and Terry Moran on ABC’s program news 31-days of the year-old “Nightline.”
