'Marriage Ref' & Divorce‘Marriage Ref’ & Divorce, It is not anything. A broken heart divorced Manhattan accuses Jerry Seinfeld and his NBC reality show, “The Marriage Ref” to tear him and his now ex-wife as well – claiming their appearance as a participant in an episode led to dumping.

Howie Kohlenberg, 47, reported that after getting his 15 minutes of fame dispute the March 4, 2010, premiere episode, his wife, Christine, became so obsessed with becoming a star rotating at 14 years of marriage.

“The headline should read:” Jerry Seinfeld ruined my life: the danger of reality shows, “said Kohlenberg.

Not only the seller of beauty-products claim their sxy 37-year-old wife left him and his four and a half year old son to pursue a dream of starring in a “Real Housewives”-style reality show, also says he went broke and now face eviction.

“Jerry, billionaire Sir, I blame. And his program,” he said.

“The Marriage Ref,” which begins its second season tonight, places couples fight before a panel of celebrities to have their dispute trial.

Kohlenberg said he and Cristina were happily married, but has money problems with his now-defunct Midtown spa when a friend suggested he audition for the show.

They were chosen from a group of thousands.

“We did it to drum up some business,” he said. “They pledged to promote the spa in the air. They did not.”

His celebrity panel consisted of Seinfeld, Eva Longoria, and Tina Fey. The only time the couple met Seinfeld, who also is executive producer and co-creator, was during the recording.

“Our arguments were always over the business, but the argument that they [the producers] wanted me took my wedding ring while playing basketball,” he said.

“It was not necessarily an angle of truth, because she really did not care if I took it off or not.”

A Seinfeld’s publicist said: “We will respectfully decline comment.”

Kohlenberg insists on his marital bliss turned into a nightmare with blisters during the preshow film.

“The people on the show we were pumping, saying:” You will wake up and be stars. You’ll be famous and make money. “The producer said her lips looked good, and suddenly she was getting a lot of Botox,” he said.

“Now it’s getting this huge head. She wants to do Play boy. We almost opened the show because it was getting racy photos on Facebook.

“I’m not saying that our marriage was perfect, but put it in a totally new direction. It was the nail in the coffin.

“She had all these ideas that” I have to live my life and be an actress. ”

Christine did not return phone calls or emails.

Kohlenberg said that after the “Marriage Ref” segment to air his wife traveled to Los Angeles, where she played a girl swimming in the independent comedy “Love Chakra”. There he met a producer in Canada and went to live with him.

He has since appeared on a reality pilot based in New York, “shopaholics” said Kohlenberg.

Kohlenberg said he begged in vain for his wife to return home.

“Everyone thinks that reality shows are glamorous – it’s going to get rich, and it will be the next ‘Jersey Shore,’” he said. “They make you jump through hoops, the conclusion is do not give a-s -. -. You’re just another number”
