Man Spiritual Message Bush

Man Spiritual Message Bush, The Secret Service this afternoon briefly detained a man outside the Dallas home of former president George W. Bush, according to news reports. The unidentified man had a licensed gun in his vehicle nearby but was not charged. The Bushes were out of town.

WFAA-TV says the unidentified man was trying to deliver a “spiritual message” to the former president. NBC DFW’s version is that he told Secret Service agents “he was contacted spiritually to pick up a package from the Bush’s house.”

A gun was found in the glove box of the man’s vehicle, but the Secret Service said it did not consider him a danger to the former president. He was detained, questioned and released without charges.

Dallas police said the man has a license to carry a concealed handgun in Texas.

The man entered the Bush property — which the Secret Service monitors 24 hours a day — by tailgating another vehicle through the gates, WFAA says. But the Secret Service would not tell the Associated Press how the man entered.
