Man Returns Stolen Cash 40s Sears

November 30, 2011 by staff

Man Returns Stolen Cash 40s Sears, The manager of the downtown Seattle Sears store says an elderly man has repaid — with interest — cash the man says he stole in the late 1940s.

Yesterday the man left a 100-dollar bill and a note for the SODO district Sears store manager.

The man claims he stole about 20 to 30 bucks from the store in the late 1940′s and wants to repay it.

The manager says he doesn’t know who the man is. Sears plans to give the money to a company sponsored program called “Heroes at Home” that provides gift cards to military families in need during the holidays.
