Man Marries Corpse Bride

Man Marries Corpse Bride, A television director finally decided to tie the knot, albeit a bit too late. The Thai groom, Chadil Deffy, married his corpse bride at her funeral in Surin Province, and promptly posted the ceremony on Facebook and YouTube. Is this a desperate act of sorrow, or a blatant attempt to become a household name?

Dressed in a dapper black tuxedo, the 28-year-old groom placed a wedding ring on the finger of his girlfriend of ten years, 29-year-old Sarinya “Anne” Kamsook, as she lay in her coffin, in her wedding dress. Kamsook was killed in an auto accident on January 3.

A friend of Deffy explained that the heartbroken groom “wasn’t thinking about the possibility of fame when he decided to put a ring on her cold finger. He merely wanted to make things right, however small or inadequate the gesture might seem.”

Unfortunately, making things right seems to have come too little and a lot too late for Anne, while Deffy’s wedding album, entitled “Corpse Bride,” and a YouTube video take a honeymoon trip around the world. Too bad the corpse bride can’t enjoy the ride.
