Man Drove 225 Miles, Man Drove Miles With Dead Wife — An elderly Canadian man drove 225 miles with his dead wife in the passenger seat after returning from vacation. Reportedly, the British Columbia resident was confused about border permits. He managed to use his Onstar Navigation System in Oregon to get help and guidance from operators and police.
Canadian Man Drives with Dead Wife: US and Canadian Laws Differ?
According to the Christian Post, an Oliver senior’s wife suddenly became ill as the pair drove home to Canada back from a trip to Oregon. At some point, the 75-year-old woman died in the passenger seat near Pasco, Washington. However, the man did not call for medical attention at the time.
But at some point, he used the vehicles OnStar system to contact operators. It seems the man was so distraught over the sudden death of his wife, he did not know what needed to be done with her remains. But after driving 225-miles with his deceased spouse in the passenger seat, the dazed and confused man pulled over in the town of Tonasket, Washington.
