Man Buys Rat Island

Man Buys Rat Island, Rat Island is not the easiest island vacation in New York, considering that he spends much time under water and it is rumored that once housed the victims of typhoid fever, but that has not stopped New Alex Schibli York resident, 71 years from the purchase of the island, 160, 000 at auction.
Schibli told the New York Post:
“I feel like it has always belonged to me,” while adding. “It’s so beautiful out here. Not even think it was in New York. And no rats at all!”
It is not the first time the Rat Island has come to the sale, in 2009, the original owner, who was sick of paying taxes on the island tried to download and 300,000.
Meanwhile Alex has no intention of changing anything on the island, taking into account:
“Some developers may build something on top of the island if it is in their hands, but it must be preserved, maintained as is.”
Even if he had plans to build the project met with concern, given the unstable nature of the land mass and constant water immersion.
As for the name of Alex Schibili says that is changing because:
“I really do not like the name Rat Island. Perhaps Malina Island, after my 4 year old granddaughter.”
Conservation around the world are probably applauding Alex for his decision to keep the island free of artificial construction projects, what do you think about his decision to spend on an island and 160,000, plus annual taxes, if not even above water for part of the year?
