Madonna On Idol, With a promotional blitz leading up to her Super Bowl performance on Sunday, this weekend — musically — will belong to Madonna.

“American Idol,” iTunes, YouTube, dozens of radio stations and even outdoor billboards around the world will be promoting “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” the first single from her new album, “MDNA,” which will be released by Interscope Records on March 26.

In addition, “W.E.,” the new film directed by Madonna, will open in New York and Los Angeles on Friday.

The music video for “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” appropriately football-themed, had a one-minute teaser on “American Idol” on Thursday night, and the full video will become available on YouTube Friday morning. Also on Friday, iTunes will begin selling the single, which features guest spots by Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.; it will also be taking pre-orders for the album.

But the most ambitious campaign is from Clear Channel Communications. To demonstrate its might across multiple media platforms, Clear Channel will be playing the song on its radio stations, on the Internet and on video billboards beginning Friday morning.

Starting at 9 a.m. Eastern time, 95 Clear Channel pop stations in the United States will play “Give Me All Your Luvin’” every hour on the hour leading up to the Super Bowl. The song will also be played on Clear Channel stations in Australia and New Zealand, Capital FM stations in Britain, and on the company’s online app, iHeartRadio.
