Lucky For Life Numbers

Lucky For Life Numbers, Massachusetts Lottery players had lots of luck in Thursday night’s inaugural drawing of the multi-state lottery game “Lucky for Life.” A ticket sold at Myette’s Country Store in Hanover is the first top prize winner of 1,000 a day, every day, for life, the lottery announced Friday. The ticket matched all six numbers drawn (1-2-6-10-19, Lucky Ball 15).

Also, two tickets in the drawing won $25,000 for matching the first five numbers, both of which were sold by Massachusetts Lottery retailers — Shaw’s Supermarket in Canton and Patriot Pub in East Bridgewater.

The new game is played in all six New England states. There are 10 total ways to win playing Lucky for Life. Players select five numbers out a field of 40, and one Lucky Ball number out of a field of 21. Those matching all six numbers drawn win the game’s $1,000 a day for life top prize, which is guaranteed for a minimum of 20 years, but will be paid out for the duration of each winner’s lifetime.

The game also features a $25,000 second prize and other exciting cash prizes ranging from $2,000 to $2. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 6.6. While there is not a cash option offered on the top prize, all lower-tiered prizes are paid out in one-time, lump sum payments.

Lucky for Life tickets are $2 each and can be purchased at Lottery retailers in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
