Lombardi:Lombardi®, a leader in business process management (BPM) software, today announced that its customer – Lincoln Trust Company – has won the Gold Award for North America in the 2009 Global Awards for Excellence in Business Process Management (BPM) and Workflow. Lombardi’s award-winning Teamworks® and Blueprint BPM software represents the technology foundation that helped Lincoln Trust to secure the prestigious award.

Against heavy competition from other BPM projects, Lincoln Trust Company was singled out for delivering the most tangible results and benefits to its users through their Lombardi BPM implementation. Those benefits have generated firm metrics including reduced staffing costs; a reduction in cycle-times for internal and external stakeholders; as well as a substantial increase in employee productivity.

Now in their 16th year, the annual Global Excellence Awards in BPM and Workflow awards ( are used to recognize user organizations such as Lincoln Trust Company that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives. The Gold Award was announced and presented to Lincoln Trust Company in a special webinar on Tuesday November 24, 2009. The webinar was chaired by Derek Miers, lead judge for the awards.
