Lindsey Lohan:A judge in Beverly Hills, ruled Tuesday that Lindsay Lohan violated the terms of her probation in a drunken driving case when she failed to attend classes on alcohol education and sentenced her to 90 days in jail.
Marsha N. Revel judge declared several times in recent years that the actress had lied about taking drugs and drinking.
“It’s like someone who cheats, but do not think it’s cheating if you do not get caught,” said Revel.
[Updated at 3:47 pm: The judge said Lohan had misled the authorities on several occasions after his first arrest for drunken driving in 2007. She said Lohan lied by pretending that it was the driver in that case. Two months later, Lohan was arrested for drunk driving.
"Once again he lied about his driving," said Revel.
The judge said Lohan lied again when a white substance was found in his pants and tried to say it was someone else's pants. Revel said he tested positive for cocaine after his arrest.
"She lied and lied and then before that," said Revel.
In addition to 90 days in jail, the judge sentenced Lohan to 90 days in a drug rehabilitation center.]
Prior to sentencing, Lohan tearfully addressed the court, saying that “as far as I knew he was in the performance of my programs.”
“I was not seeking special treatment,” she said. “I have to myself. I have to work. That said, I did my best to balance my work and presented. I’m not taking this as a joke. It’s my life. It is my career. … I take responsibility for my actions. I have tried to do the best I can. It’s been a long haul, I do not want you to think that do not respect you. ”
Prosecutors had argued that the star of “Mean Girls,” “Freaky Friday” and “Herbie Fully Loaded” did not comply with the directive of weekly attendance of their classes on alcohol education. The operator of the class stated that Lohan had nine absences.

Marshall revealed Lohan did not attend the group meetings, but chose one-on-one session due to privacy concerns.
Defense attorney Shawn Chapman Holley argued that Lohan was “absolutely on track to finish the program and had met most of the orders of the court.
In considering his punishment, Revel said Lohan examine whether violated her probation not only for the actress to attend some classes scheduled alcohol education, not the alcohol detection bracelet that Lohan was ordered to wear had been fired after the MTV Movie Awards.
On June 8, Revel issued an arrest warrant for Lohan after the alarm monitoring device in its tripped. The alarm sounds when the cuff usually is handled or if the person carrying alcohol. The device SCRAM, or Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor, checks for traces of alcohol in the air over the wearer’s skin.
Revel Lohan ordered to be fitted with the device May 24 after Lohan did not show the week before a mandatory review progress on whether it was complying with the terms of his probation.
