Lindsay Lohan Marilyn Monroe, The apparent cover of the January/February issue shows the 25-year-old actress straddling a red bunny-shaped chair in nothing but black stil**tos and tumbling blonde curls.
The Mean Girls star, who was reportedly paid $1million to grace Pl**yboy’s pages, is said to have posed twice for the magazine as Hugh Hefner was unimpressed with the initial shoot.
Hefner previously revealed his inspiration behind the controversial actress’ cover.
He told The Insider: ‘It’s a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley n*de pictorial of Marilyn Monroe.’
And Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan had also insisted the shoot was ‘tastefully done’.
‘It was an opportunity for her and she’s done thousands and thousands of covers…she’s 25 now,’ she said.
‘It was just something that was her decision…we have a contractual say in how far it goes and her and Mr. Hefner will decide.
‘It will be tastefully done,’ she added.
Meanwhile, a diary allegedly written by Lindsay has revealed she was ‘in love’ with Heath Ledger at the time of his shock death in 2008.
Lindsay wrote in her memoir obtained by Star magazine at the time: ‘Today Heath died. I’m in love with him… He was the love of my life.
‘He taught me so much, and he was everything I’ve ever wanted and more. I want to hear him laugh and hold me. I crave his touch and care,’ she added.
