Lettuce Recall

Lettuce RecallLettuce Recall, A farm in California, who requested a voluntary recall of the lettuce concerning said listeria contamination that your account has gone to 19 states and Canada.
Salinas real leaf farms initially announced the recall of 90 boxes of romaine sent to Oregon, Idaho and Washington.

However, the CEO of Brethren Church, which sells and markets household products, said Saturday that the recall involves about 2,500 cardboard boxes.

CEO Steve Church says that most of the tickets went to institutions such as restaurants and cafes, which were notified about the recall. He says that only 90 cases were at retail, and these were mentioned in the initial announcement.

The company issued the recall after a spot check by federal authorities found a sample tested positive for listeria. No illnesses were reported.
