Perhaps then Twitter is the best revenge.

It was not long for Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert to comment on the failure of LeBron James to win a championship in Miami.
Mere minutes after the Dallas Mavericks won Game 6 and the championship of the NBA, Gilbert took Twitter to congratulate the Mavs – and take a swipe at James, the player who left his team and brought his talent to South Beach.

From your account @ cavsdan, Gilbert Twitter: “Congratulations to Mark C. org & all Mavs. Mavs never stopped & now entire franchise rings. Lesson of the Old for everyone: there are no shortcuts. None.”

James Gilbert was insisting to take a “shortcut” to a championship team with two All-Stars – Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

The Cavs owner was not the only one that uses Twitter to express their feelings after the game.

Mo Williams, who played with James on the Cavaliers @ mogotti25 posted on his mind: “Dallas just healed my heart….”

James (@ KingJames) is Twitter a few words, saying: “The greatest man above know when my time. Right now is not the time.”

Pau Gasol (@ paugasol) of the Lakers Twitter. “Congratulations for the championship @ dallasmavs Congratulations to you too Dirk, he deserves it.”

Gasol’s teammate Ron Artest (ronartest @), congratulated the Mavericks, but issued a warning like this: “Congratulations to the Mavs. Next year the rings will be back in Los Angeles”
