Lebron Back To Cleveland

Lebron Back To Cleveland, Tonight, James will be back in the city where he got his NBA start, and where he has been vilified since leaving the Cavaliers for the Miami Heat. But despite the lingering animosity James told the Miami Herald he’d consider one day returning to his original club.

“I think it would be great, it would be fun to play in front of these fans again,” James said after practicing yesterday in Cleveland. “I had a lot of fun times in my seven years here. You can’t predict the future . . . I’m here as a Miami Heat player, and I’m happy where I’m at now. But I don’t rule that out in no sense. If I decided to come back, hopefully the fans will accept me.”

James is under contract in Miami for two more seasons, and the Heat have an option for two additional years. But perhaps the biggest obstacle for LeBron returning to his home state would be making peace with the Cavs owner he embittered, Dan Gilbert.

James told the Herald both he and Gilbert made mistakes during their split and the aftermath, but said he thought their differences could be resolved.

Said James: “I don’t hold grudges. I hold them a little bit. But I don’t hold them that long . . . Like I said, he said what he said out of anger. He’ll probably want to take that back. I made a mistake, too. There’s things I want to take back as well. You learn from your mistakes and move on.”
