Leave It To Beaver, The actress who some believe that personifies the quintessential TV mom is dead. Barbara Billingsley, star of Leave It to Beaver, died this morning at the age of 94. The exact cause of death is not known, but had been unwell for some time.

Born in Los Angeles with Robert Collyer Combes, a police chief, and Lillian A. Combes, who was the youngest of three children. Billingsley, AOs divorced parents while still a child and she fell in love with theater in school.
