Lcc, Shares of Expedia Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPE) and Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE: OWW) fell after two Soleil Securitiesanlyst Jake Fuller downgraded the stock, Äúbuy, UA, Äúhold, UA Expedia share lost about 3.1%, while Orbitz. Shares fell about 1% following the downgrade.

Shares of airlines gained overall market share. Winners in the list in Continental U.S. Holdings (NYSE: ALU), U.S. Airways Group Inc. (NYSE: LCC) and American Airlines parent AMR Corp. (NYSE: AMR). The NYSE Arca Airline Index (XAL) rose from about 1.10%, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index moved up about 1.36%.

Shares of Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU [Free Trend Analysis] [Free Trend Analysis]) jumped nearly 4% after Lazard Capitalanlyst maintained, Äúhold, notes the AU on the stock. MU share plunged 26.08% over the last 52 weeks, while the S & P 500 gained 11.00% over the same period.

The U.S. dollar moved down after the Institute’s index of Supply Management on U.S. manufacturing for December. The ISM’s factory offers up to 57 in the previous month, against 56.6 in November. The dollar index (DXY) has gained 0.08% to 79.09, against 79,527 previously. Against the dollar, the euro has risen from about 0.1873%. Against the yen, the dollar has gained around 0.4311%.
