Lara Logan & Assault, CBS reporter Lara Logan is talking for the first time about the brutal physical and sexual assault she suffered while covering the uprising in Egypt in February.

In an interview with 60 Minutes, which reveals that when she was separated from her film crew in Tahrir Square and attacked by a mob of men, thought he was doomed.

“There was no doubt in my mind that I was in the process of dying,” he says reporter Scott Pelley. “I’m not just going to die, but that will only be a torturous death that will last forever.”

Logan was rescued by a group of Egyptian women and soldiers, and immediately flew back to the U.S., where he recovered in hospital for four days. His interview will air attack on Sunday night.
