Landon Collins Mother

Landon Collins, who is the No. 1 high school safety in America, got slighted by his mother on national television after he committed to Alabama over LSU during the Under Armour All-America game on ESPN.
Collins, who is from New Orleans, made the difficult choice of leaving home to head for Roll Tide country much to the chagrin of his mother.
“I feel as if LSU is the better place for him to be,” said Landon Collins mother, who dropped her head in disgust on camera after her son announced his pick. “LSU Tigers are No. 1. Go Tigers.”
Collins was asked what he thought the LSU hometown fans would think to which he responded, “I don’t know what to say about it, I guess just still support me.”
Hopefully his mom will too.
LSU and Alabama will play in the BCS Championship Jan. 9, 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
