Lance KerwinLance Kerwin, (NEWS THAINDIAN) Former child star Lance Kerwin has been convicted of one count of second-degree burglary because he has been sentenced to five years probation. The actor, 49 years old, was placed on probation for a period of five years on Thursday and has also been ordered to perform 300 hour community service for theft count has been found guilty. Lance Kerwin is best known for edging in the title role in 1977-indeed “the television movie James at 15.”

The ex-actor who has failed to act since the mid 1990s, was found responsible for the production of false documents in an attempt to get medical assistance and food stamps in the state. While revealing the details of the case, defense attorney Craig De Costa revealed that Lance Kerwin filed an application for benefits even though he was the owner of a maximum of three properties on the continent. The former actor of 49 years who supposedly quit acting to become a pastor, said he has already paid the amount of 21 822 and restitution.

Before his conviction, Lance Kerwin apologized for his actions, but said he really did not want to minimize their work by making a declaration to that effect. Former actor, who is a pastor at Calvary Chapel in Kapaa also noted that his actions have had an impact on community, members of another church and their children. However, the former child actor also expressed his hope that his sentence would affect his life positively.
