April 16, 2012 by staff
Lamborghini On Fire, Sunday afternoon, a new Lamborghini Aventador worth almost $400,000 spontaneously burst into flames on Highway 73 in the San Joaquin Hills. Three lanes were closed to contain the flames.
The man behind the wheel was test-driving the luxury vehicle when a fire broke out around the rear left tire, reports Jalopnik. He pulled the car over to the shoulder and was able to exit the vehicle without injury.
The Lamborghini Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and is considered one of the most elite vehicles ever manufactured. The Huffington Post has reached out to Lambo Newport Beach. This story will be updated with their response.
