Lake DelhiLake Delhi, the mud and dead fish is whats left of lake delhi. over the weekend, the dam of delhi in delaware county gave way under the rapid increase in maquoketa river.

the nine mile long lake and the properties surrounding the lake was absolutely devastated.

the bombardment of heavy rains have led to this rapid increase in the maquoketa river. lake delhi recreation association decide to reconstruct the lake built in 1927. according to homeland security and the iowa emergency management, the lake delhi dam is likely to be eligible for federal help because he received help after severe flooding in 2008.
this natural disaster in iowa is one of several disasters that have recently occurred in the midwest. 12 counties have been reported recently in illinois because of storms which dumped some places more than 10 inches of rain in 48 hours. storms also devastated parts of southern wisconsin that has claimed millions of dollars in damage and required assistance from fema.
