Lady Gaga & 'Idol'Lady Gaga & ‘Idol’, Lady GaGa to share their knowledge of music with “American Idol” finalists. The “Judas”, the singer is set to mentor the remaining contestants in 4 weeks, FOX has confirmed to the magazine Entertainment Weekly. The news was first revealed by host Ryan Seacrest that tweeted, “I have only one word for our mentor in @ AmericanIdol Gaga ………. next week.”

GaGa will join “American Idol” mentor in the home of Jimmy Iovine, who is also her label boss, to give advice to four finalists: Lauren Alaina, McCreery Scotty, James Durbin and Haley Reinhart. She will lead the quartet in the selection of songs from the catalog of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller before the performance show Wednesday night May 11.

Interestingly, during the presentation of the last performance on May 4, Haley GaGa sang “You and I” at the suggestion of Jimmy. Judge Jennifer Lopez, however, did not like of your choice, commenting, “It would have been a better choice to choose something that everyone knew.”
