Lady Gaga Born This Way FoundationLady Gaga Born This Way Foundation, Lady Gaga has always made it her mission to empower their little monsters. On Wednesday (November 2), Mother Monster announced that it is throwing the baby Way Foundation, which aims to inspire more young people. The pop superstar is even getting help from her own monster mother, Cynthia Germanotta.

“My mother and I have started a project of passion. We call it the Way Foundation was born,” Gaga said in a statement about the foundation, which takes its name from its single and album. “Together, we hope to establish a level of courage and kindness, as well as a global community that protects and nurtures others from intimidation and neglect.”

The Foundation works with a number of partners, including the John D. And Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and California’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. The statement said the foundation will focus on “youth empowerment and equality, addressing topics such as self-welfare, anti-bullying, mentoring and professional development and use digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change. ”

Gaga has been a leader in shedding light on the issue of bullying. He met with President Obama at a fundraiser in September to discuss the epidemic of bullying, having been touched in particular by the suicide of harassment Rodemeyer 14 years of age, Jamey.

“The last days I’ve been reflecting, crying and screaming,” he wrote that when the news of the teenager’s death broke in September. “I have a lot of anger. It’s hard to feel love when cruelty is taking someone’s life.” She even published Rodemeyer “It Gets Better” video, urging bullying “should become illegal. This is a hate crime.”

Lady Gaga is not the only pop star to give the spotlight back. On Tuesday, Justin Bieber announced the creation of his Believe charity campaign and noted that the partial product of the sale of their new album under the mistletoe will be donated to charitable organizations.
