Lady Antebellum, It may seem a bit on the outside as Josh Kelley, who had built a solid name as a pop voice, still sibling member Lady Antebellum Charles Kelley to Nashville. (Josh just released his first country single, “Georgia Clay,” the radio.)
But by accepting single band of the Year Award at 44th Annual CMA Wednesday, Charles Kelley said in the other direction.
“Thanks to my brother … for me to go to Nashville six years ago,” said Charles and Lady Antebellum collected their trophy for single “Need You Now.”
“It really would not be here without you,” said Lady Charles A bandmate Scott Hillary, looking at Josh in the audience.
Single of the Year is one of several trophies Lady Antebellum is on the CMA in 2010, including the grand prize, entertainer of the year.
