Kyle Busch Ron Hornaday

Kyle Busch Ron Hornaday, I am man enough to admit I do enjoy watching NASCAR and am educated enough with the sport and rules and what happened to have an almost intelligent reply. One thing you need to understand is that NASCAR as the sanctioning body has a “boys have at it” rule and that within reason, penalties are not handed out (again, within reason) for wrecking each other and somewhat poor behavior (and taste at times LOL).
If Kyle Busch had done that to a competitor other than someone who had a legitimate shot at a championship which is ending in two races, he would have been slapped on the wrist and parked for the rest of that race (vs. the whole weekend and ultimately ending his hopes for a cup title this year). I was torn about how NASCAR should handle that and not play god with the rule book because as it is currently stated, it does say have at it boys and turnabout is a b*tch and fair play. In this case, I agree with what NASCAR did and parked his butt for the rest of the weekend and played into the gray area of the rules. I would not have felt this way had it not been a move that took someone out of the championship and a boatload of $$$ for that driver and team now down the toilet.
Also, this is Ron Hornaday and his team’s last year as this team is on the chopping block and I do not believe anybody has bought this team. So, this whole thing cuts even a lot deeper for a lot of folks.
