Kumari Fulbright, (AP) – A former beauty queen and the University of Arizona law student accused of masterminding the kidnapping and torture of her ex-boyfriend is going to jail.

Pima County prosecutors say 28-years old Kumari Fulbright was sentenced Thursday to two years in jail and probation for six years.

She pleaded guilty last year to conspiracy to commit kidnapping and aggravated assault in a plea agreement provided that the prison sentence. The Arizona Daily Star said it was a judge to decide how long Fulbright is on probation after she was released.

Fulbright and three men were arrested in December 2007; after the ex-boyfriend told police he had been bound and held captive for eight to ten hours, robbed and tortured.

Fulbright has participated in the contest of Miss Arizona and was named Miss Pima County in 2005 and Miss Desert Sun in 2006.
