Krystle Campbell, Krystle Campbell upset several of her fellow cheerleaders Eagles when he missed training to spend time with her boyfriend, rehabbing Phillies slugger Ryan Howard, in his hometown of St. Louis when the Phillies beat the Cardinals in July 1919 -22.
We are told that Campbell did not tell his coaches what was missing from practice and will not face discipline for being absent. Cheerleaders are supposed to miss practice only if they are sick or if there is a death in the family. previous absences have been made to work games in the luxury suites instead of dancing on the field as punishment.
Campbell, who accompanied Howard to the Rothman Institute at Jefferson Hospital yesterday, is a local teacher and briefly dated Flyers center Jeff Carter before meeting with Howard about a year ago. She has been a cheerleader for several years Eagles.
Howard likes to hear that Campbell is on the team and encouraged her to try it again this year.
“All our leaders adhere to the same guidelines. Without exception, the” Eagles cheerleader director Barbara Zaun said yesterday. Campbell did not return our phone call or email.
