Kristen Wiig GQ

Kristen Wiig GQ, Kristen Wiig is GQ magazine’s “Bro the Year.” Is that a good thing? The sxy comedian, who starred in the hit rom-com “Bridesmaids,” apparently would make a great pal. Ah, forever a bridesmaid and never a bride? Is that it?

“Bridesmaids” co-star Jon Hamm pays to the 38-year-old actress, whom he first met on the set of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

“The first time I noticed her was watching the ‘SNL’ sketch ‘Lady Business,’” he wrote.

“Kristen’s line was ‘I’m a b**ch in the boardroom, a bore in the bedroom, and I’m a bear on the toilet,’ which she delivered with over-the-top seriousness. I thought, ‘My God, this girl is funny.’”

For all her outrageous on-screen antics, Wiig is incredibly shy, Hamm, 40, notes.

“For a lot of comics, there’s a persona they’re not comfortable revealing unless they’re performing,” he explains.

“Kristen is incredibly shy; she has her hoodie pulled up and her sleeves pulled over her hands,” Hamm adds.

“But this is a woman who wore coconuts on her t*ts on ‘SNL’; she can go to the craziest, most grotesque places on the planet in character.”

Wiig was a writer and producer as well as starring in “Bridesmaids,” the hands-down funniest movie of the year.

She recently completed Jennifer Westfeldt’s film “Friends with Kids,” alongside “Bridesmaids” colleagues Maya Rudolph and Chris O’Dowd and hottie Megan Fox.

Westfeldt, who is Hamm’s longterm partner, has just secured a distribution deal with Lionsgate.
