Kobe Wears Mask To Protect Broken Nose

Kobe Wears Mask To Protect Broken Nose, We knew Kobe Bryant would probably have to play a little more cautiously with the broken nose that was delivered to him by Dwyane Wade during the All-Star Game on Sunday.

But we didn’t know he’d have to take things this far. For last night’s Lakers/Timberwolves game, KB24 showed up rocking a large plastic mask to protect his nose. And, although it didn’t affect his game-he finished with 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists-he admitted afterwards that the mask wasn’t an ideal situation for him.

“You just start sweating immediately inside of it,” he said. “It just felt like I had a sauna on my face. Like, I was drinking my own sweat because it was leaking out. It was a mess. It was totally disgusting.”

He also revealed that he doesn’t hold any ill will against D-Wade for putting him in this predicament. “I’ve known Dwyane for years now,” he said. “It’s always entertaining to me to hear people talk about our relationship as if they know really what’s going on and try to say there’s something between them and all this other stuff. It was very simple. He didn’t mean to do it. It’s just something that just happens. He’s not that type of person.”
