Kobe Bryant Church Incident
August 17, 2011 by staff
Reportedly, Kobe Bryant was in Santa Teresa del Carmen Valley Church in Caramel, on Sunday and thought that someone sitting near him was taking pictures of him with a cell phone. This did not sit well with the five-time NBA champion and proceeded to snatch the phone from the hand of man, and see if he was actually shooting. After Kobe saw no pictures of him on the phone, the Lakers star left the church and the man’s cell phone went to the hospital.
San Diego police are investigating the case on the man’s claim that Kobe Bryant injured his wrist during an altercation in the church. As of now, their idication whether Bryant really hurt the man in question, but this could result in a claim that falls into the pockets of the NBA star.
It is possible that San Diego police found no evidence of wrongdoing by Kobe Bryant and this incident could close very quickly. Surprisingly, no video has emerged on the alleged altercation in Caramel Valley church, but there might be something coming in the near future.
In my opinion, this is just another person looking for cash with a lawsuit against a professional athlete. Kobe is more than capable of doing something like this, but it is doubtful that he was aggressive enough in the church to send someone to the hospital.
