Kim Novak, Kim Novak, the famous Hollywood actress, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. 77 years old, was diagnosed after a routine mammogram, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Novak manager, Sue Cameron, said: “All the doctors say it is in exceptional physical condition and should recover well.” Novak is perhaps best known for his starring role in 1958 film by Alfred Hitchcck’s “Vertigo,” in which she played a ‘Madeleine Elster, “and starred with James Stewart. Also had a recurring role on the series’ Falcon Crest’ between 1986-1987, and was recently featured in the drama of 1990, British-German ‘El Ni?o’, which was directed by Tony Palmer and also starring Ben Kingsley.

Novak retired from acting in 1991 and began raising livestock veterinarian with her husband at his ranch in Oregon, however, she made a rare appearance in Hollywood in July 2010, the promotion of a DVD collection box set of their work. Despite the diagnosis, Novak remains optimistic and his manager reiterated that the disease was “caught in time.”
