Kim Kardashian Last Man Standing

Kim Kardashian Last Man Standing, If Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney And Kim Take New York aren’t enough for you on E!, don’t worry: Kim Kardashian is returning to the ABC network. However, it’s not because she’s returning to Dancing With The Stars anytime soon; instead, she’s stopping by as a guest star on Last Man Standing, the supposed comeback comedy for Tim Allen that has generally been struggling with ratings. Can the queen of reality television bring a boost to a brand new scripted series by only guest-starring in a single episode?
Sources confirm to TVLine that ABC’s Last Man Standing has cast Kim Kardashian to play herself in an upcoming episode: the plot finds Mandy, the middle daughter of Tim Allen’s Mike who is obsessed with reality television programming – running into her idol, Kim Kardashian.
The episode is set to sometime in February. Last Man Standing airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
Though Kim Kardashian is constantly on camera through her plethora of reality shows, she has only been on the set of a scripted series twice before: she previously held a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother (also playing herself) and has guest-starred on CSI: NY.
She is also set to make her big screen debut in Tyler Perry’s upcoming film, The Marriage Counselor. Perry admits to casting Kim long before hearing about her wedding and divorce, but acknowledges why scripted television producers and filmmakers are now making her offers:
“Millions of young people adore her and are following her every move,” wrote Perry on his website. “If one of those young people see this film and find the strength to live a better life and not go through what these characters went through in this movie, then we have all done what I feel I’m being led to do here.”
In The Marriage Counselor, Kim Kardashian plays the supporting role of Ava, a pal and coworker to the romantically-challenged marriage counselor, Judith, played by Jurnee Smolett.
