Kid Used Weapon To Protect Candy?, Keeping children safe on Halloween is more than just candy and checking of cross streets safely. The officers were to make child predators stayed away from their children.

It’s called Operation Scarecrow. All years probation officers go to sex offenders who care homes could be repeated. Sex offenders are not allowed to participate in Halloween activities for children. They can not distribute candy, can not even open the door to trick-or-treating.

However, during inspections, the agents also are sure that you are not violating the conditions of his probation, on vacation or not.

“Child prnography is the main thing we are looking, of course, there are other things we’re looking for, such as alcohol, drugs or weapons, even,” Officer Michael Van Dyck says.

All criminals know every year on Halloween is expected that these checks. So during our trip along there were no arrests, which officials say is a very good thing.
