Keurig, Boston Market Corp. will begin selling Keurig coffee one cup at its restaurants this month and have it in 400 stores by early next year, in a deal announced Friday, with Keurig, Inc. and its owners, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boston Market said sales of coffee in some places more than doubled when testing the Keurig system was added.

Green Mountain Coffee, based in Waterbury, Vermont, has been expanding its sales of Keurig brewing systems, and its K-Cup pack. Last month, it announced an agreement to buy a Keurig licensee in Canada, Van Houtte, and to 890 million.

Boston Market is located in Reading, Mass. The company said that coffee is part of its new brand and format of service. Clients learn about it on menus and in stores shortly.

Green Mountain shares rose 10 cents to close at $ 29.99.
