Kentucky Derby Post Positions

April 28, 2010 by Post Team

Kentucky Derby Post PositionsKentucky Derby Post Positions:The process of the position of the seats for the 2010 Kentucky Derby was changed from a two-step with connections to choose what to publish your horse off after being drafted a “position” in a blind draw. The drawing will be held Wednesday at noon.

The two favorites in the morning drew the line at opposite ends of the spectrum, literally, and does not encourage optimism. Looking at Lucky said the rail and break within 19 horses of the No. 1 post as the favorite in the morning line 3-1. Candy Sidney will have to find the position from the extreme outside, drawing the No. 20 hole and is installed as the second choice at 5-1. The lone filly in the race, Devil May Care, said in the middle of the pack at No. 11.

The race is on Saturday with a time after about 18:25 at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
