Kenia Quiala Bosque

Late Saturday, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office received information from a confidential informant that 30-year old Kenia Quiala Bosque had arranged a meeting with a Keys man to sell her child.
Working with sheriff’s office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arranged for an undercover agent to take part in the meeting. Bosque, however, failed to show at the arranged time and place.
Fearing for the child’s safety, sheriff’s deputies and FDLE agents went to Bosque’s home and had enough evidence to make an arrest.
“We are just so glad we were able to obtain this information in time to intervene before anything could happen to endanger this child,” said Sheriff Bob Peryam.
Bosque was booked into the Miami-Dade County jail on Sunday. Her children were placed in the custody of relatives.
Bosque is expected in court on Tuesday when she’ll officially be charged. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, which is determining what to charge her with, will prosecute this case. Currently, Bosque is only charged with an adoption violation.
