Kendall Jenner Sweet 16 Birthday

Kendall Jenner Sweet 16 Birthday, Kendall Jenner may have had a Sweet 16 enviable of teenagers across the globe, but the planning behind the big bash was much more sour. UK’s Mirror reported momma Kris only wanted the best for her second to youngest daughter, but Kendall, who’s probably as level-headed as any of the Jenner-Kardashians will ever get, wasn’t so on board with all the lavish plans.
On Monday night’s special episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the 16-year-old is seen fighting with her mom because Kris wanted to fly her daughter and 75 of her friends out to the Bahamas to ring in her birthday.
“I want this to kind of be a low-key party. I don’t want this to be huge,” Kendall says.
However, Kris, being the ridiculous person that she is, continues with the plans despite Kendall’s disapproval. Fortunately, big sis Kourtney “accidentally” lets the cat out of the bag telling Kendall that she feels “really bad that I cannot come to your birthday party in the Bahamas.”
According to the New York Post, Kendall then addresses her mother about the situation.
“Mom, I’m not going to do it! Do you not understand?” she yells. “You’re trying to make this bigger and bigger and it’s embarrassing me. You’re just giving me this, you’re just handing me this and I don’t want it….I just want to invite 50 people.”
Of course, Kendall got her way in the end, and celebrates the rite of passage at a West Hollywood hotel. And if a performance from Tyga, fire dancers, and a brand new Range Rover were sweet, the fact that Kendall asked her friends to bring gifts for kids at L.A.’s Children’s Hospital in place of birthday presents for herself is sweet, sweet, icing on the cake.
“For my mom to be like, ‘Oh, we’re going to have this huge extravagant party, and to think those kids can’t even go to a party because they’re sitting in a hospital bed,’ it’s just really sad,” Kendall, who recently visited the hospital, said.
