Kate Moss Shares Wedding Details, Kate Moss, 37, appears on the cover of the edition of Vogue September (August 23) and shares data from the magazine of their wedding in the Cotswolds, England, July 11 guitarist Jamie Hince of 42. Here are the highlights: Gypsies, particularly the British television series Big Fat Gypsy weddings, Hince helped seal the deal.
“I’m very romantic about the gypsies,” says Moss. “I can not believe the clothes are like butterflies blinging ten times. They can not move around the hall is so cool!”
Moss relied on friends for support during the wedding planning. (It also helped that he had her friend Sam Gainsbury to help – which, along with Joseph Bennett, created the staging of the Met Alexander McQueen: Beautiful Wild). “The details are intense,” says Moss. “I’ve gone mental.”
The intimate wedding (138 guests) was in the church of San Pedro, where Lila Grace, her 8-year-old daughter of the journalist Jefferson Hack, was baptized.
“I wanted to be a kind of dreamy and 1920, when everything is soft focus. That light and that kind of decadent fun. It’s rock and roll The Great Gatsby”
The dress was designed by her friend John Galliano, who went to rehab after being accused of making anti-Semitic comments.
“I dared to be John Galliano again,” says the designer, who says he was inspired by vintage photographs of jazz Zelda Fitzgerald. “I could take a pencil. It has been my creative rehabilitation.”
