Kardashian Slave Labour
December 24, 2011 by staff
Kardashian Slave Labour, In response to a recent allegation that the Kardashian fashion products in China are made in child slave labor sweatshops, the family has claimed that the reports are untrue. RadarOnline reported that the various fashion products from the Kris Jenner Kollection and K-Dash by Kardashian label sold both on QVC as well as ShoeDazzle were manufactured in sweatshops that subject the workers to inhumane conditions.
An investigation has been launched by the human rights watchdog, Institute for Global Labor and Human Rights, to check these companies.
“When celebrities like Kim Kardashian decide to source their production in China, they must realize that they are starting out on a very low rung, perhaps at the bottom, when it comes to respect for fundamental, internationally agreed upon human and labor rights,” a statement by Charles Kernaghan, Director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights mentions.
