Kara DioGuardi's SecretsKara DioGuardi’s Secrets, The composer, company executive and former American Idol judge, has written a memoir, published this week, called high Helluva Note. Within it, DioGuardi, 40, who wrote the chatty, readable book without a ghostwriter, a chronicle of her rise in the music business after a middle-class higher education in New Rochelle, New York? She is not gossip: The secrets revealed “to be bothered by a family friend at age 11, her eating disorder all-consuming as a young adult, being raped by a music producer and egregious sexual harassment experienced from a “very successful international artist” who had been hired to write songs for, “he said from a personal perspective, and she did not give names.

However, when news of the attacks and sexual harassment were leaked last week, DioGuardi was found in the center of a swarm of gossip. He did not like at all. “He was placed in a way that is not entirely about who I am,” DioGuardi said Friday. “As I am a victim. I’m anything but a victim.”

She wrote about the parts of her life, she said, because “it affected my music” and “struck me as a person for me to get where I am.” But now that the book is about to be revealed to the world, she finds herself losing control over its content. “I wake up and I am the poster child for sexual abuse,” says DioGuardi. “And then my family is going crazy. You know, like, ‘Oh my God, I do not even know.”

The intimate revelations of life DioGuardi are a central theme of the book, and another, which also causes a stir, is her account of her two-year on American Idol. DioGuardi, who before Idol, had been a very successful presence behind the scenes in the music business as a writer on hits for artists like Ms anthem Gwen Stefani (“Rich Girl”), Kelly Clarkson (“Walk Away “), Christina Aguilera (” Is not No Other Man “), Celine Dion (” Taking Chances “) and Pink (” Sober “)-joined the Fox program in her eighth season as the fourth judge of bias “(his words).

It was increasing the Simon Cowell / Paula Abdul Randy Jackson trio, which certainly did not need the increase, it was a difficult task for many fans and critics, DioGuardi was a clumsy intruder. She was more than aware of the harsh reception. Here are some phrases used to describe DioGuardi Idol experience in the book: “sick to my stomach” to “reject and disrespect the public”, “mentally, physically and emotionally challenging,” “barely survived”, “crucified by the public U.S. “wanted to die”, “state terror”, “pain poured from me,” the depths of humiliation. “About her relationship with Cowell, who, through her first season on the show alternated between ignoring DioGuardi and talk to her with contempt, she writes: “I hated myself to seek their approval.” And her description of Season 8 finalists Kris Allen and Adam Lambert singing “No Boundaries”, the original song tibia had co-written for the final? “Seeing them perform live was like watching a plane falling from the sky.”
