Justin Bieber Chris Brown, The list of performers for the upcoming 2011 American Music Awards continues to grow. The show, which airs Nov. 20 on ABC at 8 pm ET / PT, will feature performances of the festival to start LMFAO, Chris Brown and Marc Anthony.
The three stars will join a group of artists previously announced include Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Pitbull and Maroon 5. The act of free host will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre LA Live, and be preceded by an hour on the ABC red carpet special at 7 pm The action begins even earlier, with a line pre-show starting at 5 pm EST hosted by former ‘NSYNC Lance Bass, member, with the help of Michael Buckley, Estelle, Sarah Hyland, Audrina Patridge, Josh Sussman and Xzibit. Aguilera and Maroon 5 are connected to perform their current hit “moves like Jagger.”
Last month, a special nomination in which Pitbull and Nicki Minaj, it was revealed that Perry is headed to the show as one of the most nominated acts of the night (along with fellow females Adele, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift) even for the Year of the Music Artist, Pop or Rock: Favorite Female Artist and Adult Contemporary Music: Favorite Artist. It’s appropriate, taking into account not only the biggest year he’s had, but also delivers a full version of the accelerator of her hit “fireworks” in last year’s AMAs.
