Jurassic Park 4 In The Works, Steven Spielberg has confirmed that it has begun work on a film of Jurassic Park IV. The director announced that the long awaited sequel dinosaur has a history and a writer during his first appearance at Comic-Con, reports Total Film. The screen legend was in San Diego to pick up a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to cinema. Spielberg said: “Jurassic Park 4 has a story that has a writer, and we are waiting for Jurassic Park 4 in the next two or three years.”
Spielberg directed the original 1990 adaptation of Michael Crichton novel, with its sequel The Lost World, and was executive producer on the 2001 Jurassic Park 3.
He also must implement a series of dinosaur-themed television in the U.S. Fox in the fall.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Spielberg had been “turning ideas” for a fourth installment of the franchise with screenwriter Mark Protosevich.
