JunoJuno:In the year ’07 Directed by Jason Reitman, Juno is a film that is based on the humor and the serious problem of teen pregnancy. The story is about an icon of sixteen, brave and very smart Minnesota teen High School, who becomes pregnant after diving into a love story with a boy friend, Paulie (Michael Cera).

In the film, the teenage girl named Juno (Ellen Page) beautifully tackles the issue of pregnancy to give birth to the child and the maintenance of their freedom for a couple of meetings Max (Jason Kent Bateman) and Vanessa (Jennifer Garner) who were unwilling to take the unborn baby. The film thus holds the supporters of the pro-choice and pro-life movement satisfied. Diablo Cody, author of the movie created the whole story on real life experiences of friends and colleagues he had in school. The six million dollar movie budget was filmed in Canada.

Juno first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he received a warm standing ovation. Globally, the film earned one of the highest gross of $ 231,411,584. . Teenagers were so inspired by the movie that after a year of launch, seventeen of them became pregnant. Time magazine called him “the Juno effect”, mockingly. It is a very fortunate creations by Jason Reitman, who received rave reviews from critics. The film received several awards including National Movie Award, Academy Award Eighty Canadian Comedy Award, Independent Spirit Award and Critic’s Choice awards.
