Judge grants Sandra Bullock restraining order, LOS ANGELES (AP) – Sandra Bullock A judge granted a restraining order three years on Friday against a man who has a history of harassing and allegedly traveled the country trying to keep up with the actress after being released from a mental hospital .
Thomas James Weldon was ordered to refrain from attempting to contact the actress or Louis Bullock Bardo, an infant is Academy Award winner in the adoption process.
The restraining order also protects the children of the former Bullock’s husband Jesse James. Children may stay with the actress.
Bullock first obtained a restraining order against Weldon in 2003. The order was extended, but it expired last year because of Weldon was arrested in a mental hospital in Tennessee.
After his release earlier this year, traveled to Wyoming in an alleged attempt to meet the actress, according to Bullock’s attorney, Ed McPherson.
Weldon was committed indefinitely to a psychiatric hospital in the state of Wyoming on Tuesday.
“It is obvious that this setting she has not changed despite seven years in the hospital in Tennessee,” said McPherson.
Bullock did not attend Friday’s hearing.
