Joshua Goldberg, Wizbangblog.com reported that Joshua Goldberg editor of LUCIANNE has passed away, Beau news received in the mail this morning. Joshua Goldberg died of injuries sustained in a fall. He was the editor of Lucianne.com, Blogslucianneloves.com and connection.
I knew that man is not, except through the many email exchanges we had over my assignment Blogslucianneloves. He was always kind, always helpful, and always sensitive. I cannot imagine the pain his family knows.
His mother Lucianne Goldberg has to follow the connection: For my friend, Loyal, funny, intelligent, patriotic Ldotters: It is with a heavy heart and more pain than anyone should endure that we announce the passing this week of our beloved editor, Joshua J. Goldberg. He was my son, the brother of John, the husband of Chantal and friend of dozens of people throughout his young life.
It was a tragic fall that killed him. He suffered no pain and into the arms of God. There is a thread here to express his condolences. Needless to say, e-mail to the family is overwhelmed right now.
Do not grieve for me because now I’m free,
I am the way God planned for me.
I took his hand when I heard her call,
I turned my back and left everything.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, work, play.
Tasks left side must remain so,
I found that peace at the end of the day.
If my departure has left a vacuum,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, yes, these things too I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life has been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, the touch of a loved one.
Perhaps my time seemed too short,
Do not lengthen it now excessive pain.
Lift your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

We hope and pray that Josh is with God and is at peace.
